Cruise the Bahamas

Everyone says the best way to see the Bahamas is on a cruise. Cruises also allow you to have many vacations in one because you visit many different islands. I am going on a seven day cruise in January and I cannot wait. I am going to the Dominican Republic, St. Thomas, and The Bahamas. We are traveling on the Norwegian Cruise Line. We picked this one because it is considered a free style cruise, which means you do not have to dress up for dinner, no assigned seating, and no time limits on when you can eat or do certain activities. The one problem we has was that this cruise lines only port of call is Miami, and it is extremely expensive to fly from Buffalo to Miami. However, we did receive a $150 credit for every person which can be used for anything even off shore excursions. I plan to use mine to swim with the sea lions in the Dominican Republic. The ship is named the Dawn with twelve different restaurants, nine bars and lounges, fitness center and spa, Broadway Theater, casino, three pools and more. I am so excited for my trip, and I would love for suggestion to help make my vacation even more fun.

My boyfriend and I have the same spring break this year and are seriously considering taking a trip down to the Bahamas. I've been told that there are some great cruise deals out there, but I can't seem to find any! Did you use a travel agent or a Web site that you might be willing to share? We want to do something but don't want to spend a lot of money to do it.
